Job Summary
Collect hazardous waste and R&D lab waste, segregating and processing materials by hazard class while bulk solvents into flammable and non-RCRA liquid drums. Transport waste containers from cradle-to-grave, coordinate pickups within three business days of Form A completion, and perform sampling activities to prepare paperwork for shipment. Maintain accurate records of manifests, analytical results, and generator activity reports, conducting weekly compliance inspections of storage facilities. Transport unused chemicals to the Central Chemical Storage Facility, manage inventory, and support internal environmental regulatory compliance audits. Maintain 40-hour HAZWOPER and US DOT certifications while wearing required PPE. Position offers a salary range of $40,700 to $67,900 for Level 1 or Level 2 roles in Clearfield, UT, requiring US citizenship and a valid driver's license.
Required Qualifications
- US Citizenship
- Valid driver's license
- Hold current DOD clearance or ability to apply for and obtain one
- Ability to obtain and maintain Special Program Access
- Hold current DOT Medical Clearance certification to drive DOT rated vehicle or ability to obtaining DOT medical clearance certification
- Maintain 40-hour HAZWOPER certification
- Applicable US DOT Certification
- High School diploma or equivalent
- At least 2 years of related experience
