Job Summary
Trans load product from railcar into drums and totes using operating equipment. Operate the drumming station to assure correct weight and seal containment, while running a forklift to unload or load totes and drums. Inspect and clean equipment daily, connect and disconnect hoses via threaded or camlock fittings, and read gauges. Maintain high housekeeping standards and perform basic math functions for tracking. Lift 50lbs, stand for long periods, stoop, crawl, and work on elevated platforms or rail car tops. Multitask with urgency, maintain safety orientation, and fill in for other warehouse operations. Flexible schedule includes any hours between 6:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, with possible Saturday work.
Required Qualifications
- 1-3 years of warehouse experience in a logistics environment
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to read, write, and speak the English language
- Detail-oriented and capable of performing basic math functions, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
- Must be able to read gauges
- Must be able to connect and disconnect hoses via threaded/camlock fittings
- Ability to work with basic hand tools
- Must be able to lift 50lbs, stand for long periods of time, stoop, crawl, and work on an elevated platform and top of rail cars
- Reliable with reliable transportation
- Team Player
- Willingness to fill in with other warehouse operations
- Flexible work schedule: to work any hours between 6:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, may require work on Saturdays if needed
