Job Summary

Design, qualify, and conduct chemical and mechanical lab testing including fatigue, adhesion, and corrosion analysis. Develop engineering drawings and solid models using SolidWorks while performing finite element analysis for fatigue. Review detailed manufacturing plans, drawings, and qualification test plans to support aircraft systems, structures, and engine development. Collaborate with engineers, subcontractors, and customers to solve problems using aircraft engineering principles. Perform metallurgical, mechanical, and environmental analysis for material and processing R&D.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree (Chemical Engineering) from an ABET accredited university or college
  • Minimum 1 to 2 years of professional experience
  • Computer Aided Drafting / Solid Modeling
  • Technical Writing
  • Finite Element Analysis (FEA)
  • Metallurgical, Mechanical, Chemical and Corrosion Testing
  • Material, Chemical and Environmental Analysis
  • CNC Programming and machining experience
  • Robot Programming
  • Electrical Experience
  • U.S. Citizen
  • Ability to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance
  • Ability to travel if required
