Job Summary
The Chemical Dependency Technician is responsible for facilitating the care of patients in the CD Residential program by performing documentation, intake, discharge, and administrative procedures. This role involves daily interaction with residents throughout their treatment process and assisting with gathering data. Minimum qualifications include one year of substance use disorder or related work experience, or six months of such experience coupled with current enrollment in a drug and alcohol counseling degree program.
Required Qualifications
- Valid California Driver License
- Ability to be insured by CH to transport residents
- AHA Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED or AHA Basic Life Support (BLS)
Additional Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years sobriety, if applicable
