Job Summary
Conduct assessments of participant strengths, needs, and level of care to support substance use disorder treatment planning and placement. Provide and assist with individual and group substance use disorder services, coordinate referrals, and advocate for participants with schools, courts, and community partners. Maintain accurate documentation in EHR systems and participate in treatment team meetings, supervision, and quality improvement initiatives. Travel within the service area to provide support in homes, schools, and community locations while adhering to HIPAA privacy standards. Requires an active Ohio Chemical Dependency Professionals Board license, 3 years of related experience, and a valid driver's license. Salary is $19.25-$22.50 annually.
Required Qualifications
- A high school degree or GED equivalent
- An active license to perform SUD psychotherapy issued by the Ohio Chemical Dependency Professionals Board
- 3 years of related experience in healthcare, behavioral health, or related field
- Experience in a substance use program
- Advanced communication skills, both oral and written
- Willingness to participate in and lead cross-systems team-building activities
- Advanced organizational skills
- The ability to bill Medicaid without restrictions
- Ability to use a personal vehicle or company vehicle to provide services in homes, schools, and community settings
- A valid driver's license and the ability to operate a motor vehicle
- An appropriate level of auto insurance coverage
- Ability to manage deadlines within a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- The ability to operate in an Internet-based, automated office environment
- The ability to maintain a high-speed internet connection
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
- Travel within the service area to provide support in homes, schools, and community locations
Desired Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in healthcare, behavioral health or a related field
- Experience with multi-need individuals and families
- A broad knowledge of community service systems
