Job Summary
Chief Engineer role responsible for operating, maintaining, and repairing large-scale mechanical systems (HVAC, boilers, chillers, electrical systems) in a commercial/industrial setting. Perform quality control checks, ensure safety and reliability of equipment, monitor gauges/meters/charts, log system operation, and develop/assist in operation, safety, and maintenance procedures. May supervise other workers and coordinate maintenance activities; knowledge of emergency generator systems, testing protocols, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting is preferred. Location: Culpeper, VA.
Required Qualifications
- 5-7 years of experience in operation and maintenance of equipment and systems
- DC 1st Class Engineer's License desired
