Job Summary
Operate, maintain, and repair large-scale mechanical systems in commercial/industrial buildings, including HVAC, boilers, chillers, and electrical systems; perform quality control checks and ensure safety and reliability of equipment; supervise installation and maintenance of mechanical equipment; analyze problems and implement actions to maintain continuous and reliable operation; develop operation, safety, and maintenance procedures; observe gauges and logs, adjust controls for safe, efficient operation, and document system performance; may direct and coordinate activities of other workers; working knowledge of emergency generator systems, including testing protocols, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Must possess 5-7 years of experience in the operation and maintenance of equipment and systems
- DC 1st Class Engineer's License, desired
