Job Summary
Develop and implement the environmental strategy of the HUG's Sustainability 2030 plan through cross-departmental collaboration. Track, analyze, and document sustainability performance, including establishing the institution's carbon footprint and coordinating the action plan. Lead sustainability projects and awareness events while providing expert advisory support to services on best practices for environmental protection and climate action. This role requires a Master's degree in environmental or sustainable development with five years of experience in a complex stakeholder environment. Full-time 80% contract with immediate start.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in the field of environment, sustainable development or equivalent training
- At least 5 years of successful experience in a similar function
- Experience in a complex environment involving multiple stakeholders
- Excellent oral and written French
- Very good level of written and spoken English
- Ability to influence without direct hierarchical link
- Excellent synthesis ability
- Very good writing and oral presentation skills
Desired Qualifications
- Certifications in project management (HERMES; IPMA, Prince2 or PMI)
- Accompaniment to change certification
- Carbon footprint certification
- German language proficiency
