Job Summary
Conduct daily operations and maintenance of water treatment facilities, including equipment inspections, preventive maintenance, and chemical inventory management. Supervise staff by distributing tasks, leading team meetings, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards through sample analysis and process adjustments. Perform weekly facility tours, maintain activity logs, and prepare regulatory reports. Manage on-call rotations from Monday to Sunday, producing monthly schedules and responding to equipment anomalies. Participate in wastewater treatment improvement projects. Requires three years of relevant experience and a technical diploma in water treatment or engineering.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in water treatment
- One of the following water treatment qualifications: AEC, DEP, DEC, BTS, or BTS-A
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical, civil, or chemical engineering
- Valid driver's license
- Good command of French in both written and oral form
- Ability to work shifts from Monday to Sunday
- Ability to produce monthly schedules
- Ability to intervene in case of equipment anomalies
