Job Summary
Chef for Berkshire Manor kitchen to support the Head Chef in a fast-paced, state-of-the-art kitchen. Deliver an excellent food service, follow care and support plans to meet residents' nutritional needs, prepare nutritious snacks on request, ensure food quality, flavor, and presentation, collaborate with the Head Chef to maintain smooth operations, and manage stock and replenishment. The role emphasizes delivering nutritious, high-standard meals in a care-home setting with weekend shifts and full-time hours.
Required Qualifications
- At least two years’ catering experience
- Strong communication skills
- Awareness of relevant food regulations and standards
- Knowledge of therapeutic and textured diets (advantageous)
- Proven experience delivering a high-quality catering service
- Ability to follow a structured menu while bringing creativity to dishes
