Job Summary
Chef at Berkshire Manor care home role focused on supporting the Head Chef in a fast-paced, state-of-the-art kitchen. Deliver excellent food service, follow care and support plans to meet residents' nutritional needs, prepare nutritious snacks on request, ensure high-quality, flavorful, and well-presented dishes, collaborate with the Head Chef to maintain smooth kitchen operations, and manage stock control. Requires strong communication skills and a minimum of 2 years’ catering experience, with awareness of relevant food regulations and standards and knowledge of therapeutic and textured diets (advantageous). Aims to provide nutritious, delicious meals and a positive dining experience for residents, with opportunities for personal development and career progression.
