Job Summary
Accountable for overall success of the daily kitchen operations. Leads and supervises staff while personally performing tasks; develops menus and recipes; ensures sanitation and food safety; manages budget and purchasing; guides and develops kitchen personnel; maintains brand standards and quality of food; supervises shifts and drives guest and employee satisfaction. Focuses on maintaining high-quality product, implementing efficient processes, and fostering teamwork to meet operational and financial goals.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED; 4 years experience in the culinary, food and beverage, or related professional area OR 2-year degree from an accredited university in Culinary Arts, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major; 2 years experience in the culinary, food and beverage, or related professional area.
