Job Summary
Manages all aspects of food production and operations in the kitchen at Gold Coast, including Funi’s, Marketplace, ARC and related outlets. Responsible for menu and recipe development, team performance, effective cost controls, and training/retention of key employees. Oversees and coordinates activities of cooks and kitchen staff, participates in waste management (recycling, composting, consumer waste reduction) and ensures sanitation, health, and safety standards are met. Leads a team of 30–50 employees and 3 Sous Chefs; accountable for budgeting and labor planning, and for providing a high-quality guest experience consistent with Palisades Tahoe’s values.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree, or culinary School graduate or equivalent with progressive growth in the culinary field
- Five years Kitchen Management and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Three years supervisory experience
- CA Food Handlers Card (must have or be able to obtain)
