Job Summary
The Chef(fe) de discipline, Mécanique will be responsible for discipline leadership in mechanical engineering on major mining and industrial projects. Responsibilities include acting as a technical reference for mining concentrator engineering, engaging in feasibility studies, supervising technical documents, and coordinating interdisciplinary efforts. Candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, be a member of the OIQ, have a minimum of 15 years of experience, and possess strong collaborative skills. Proficiency in French and knowledge of specific engineering software are also necessary.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering
- Member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ)
- Minimum of 15 years of relevant experience
- Fluent in French and good knowledge of English
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in mining or heavy industrial sectors
- Experience as a discipline lead engineer
- Knowledge of Pipe-Flo, Sidewinder, Caesar II software
