Job Summary
Prepare and deliver nutritious, safe, and visually appealing meals for patients in a healthcare setting. Responsibilities include ensuring compliance with HACCP and food safety guidelines, maintaining high hygiene standards, safely operating and maintaining kitchen equipment, and collaborating with internal stakeholders. Candidates must possess a Certificate III in Commercial Cookery, demonstrate experience in a healthcare food service environment, and exhibit strong food hygiene knowledge and cooking expertise.
Required Qualifications
- Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (essential)
- Full working rights in Australia
Desired Qualifications
- Food Safety and HACCP certifications (desirable)
- Proven experience in a healthcare or hospital food service environment, including knowledge of texture modified diets
- Strong understanding of food hygiene and safety principles with demonstrated cooking expertise
