Job Summary
Manage the engineering service for defense systems including MMR, radioaltimeters, and tactical data links by coaching engineers, defining individual objectives, and leading recruitment processes. Collaborate with delivery leads to align discipline capacity with workload, while fostering collaboration and autonomy within the multidisciplinary team. Ensure continuous improvement through peer reviews, standard capitalization, and regular "go & see" visits to observe and support engineering practices. Maintain discipline maturity regarding quality, cost, and delivery timelines while promoting work-life balance and diversity. Work within the NIL department at the Gennevilliers campus to support the design and development of resilient defense systems for military, marine, and terrestrial platforms.
Required Qualifications
- 5 years of hierarchical management experience with engineering teams
- Experience with embedded equipment or systems
- Knowledge in one of the following disciplines: high frequency, analog/numerical electronics, signal and information processing
- Knowledge in radio propagation, waveforms, and networks
- Ability to adapt and acquire new technical skills
- Curiosity for innovation topics and willingness to experiment
