Job Summary
In Room Dining Chef de Rang at Mandarin Oriental Savoy, Zurich, responsible for professional guest service, serving food and drinks, preparing mise-en-place, cash handling and transactions, supporting special events, maintaining HACCP hygiene standards, and ensuring guest satisfaction. The role requires strong German and English communication, teamwork, flexibility for weekend/holiday shifts, proficiency with Infrasys and SevenRooms being advantageous, and upholding the hotel’s luxury service standards.
Required Qualifications
- A completed vocational training in the hotel or catering industry
- Proficiency in German and English
- Knowledge of Infrasys cash register system and SevenRooms booking system would be advantageous
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Open-mindedness and polished professional demeanor
- Flexibility and ability to work under pressure, including weekend and holiday shifts
- Excellent manners and well-groomed appearance
- Right to work in Switzerland
