Job Summary
Chef de Partie to join The Boathouse Restaurant in Taboo Muskoka, Gravenhurst. Responsibilities include preparing/presenting dishes for resort menus, maintaining mise en place, portion control, food safety, training/supervision of junior kitchen staff, quality control, menu planning support, ordering, and helping manage kitchen costs in a fast-paced, high-volume resort kitchen. Must have at least 2 years in casual fine dining, culinary diploma (preferred), Ontario Food Handler Certification, and strong English communication; positions available full-time and part-time with staff housing.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a casual fine dining kitchen, including à la carte and high-volume production.
- Completion of a culinary training diploma (preferred).
- Ontario Food Handler Certification (required).
- High school-level English communication skills.
