Job Summary
Chef de Partie (Sushi) in a 5-star luxury hotel kitchen in the UAE. Prepare and present nigiri, sashimi, maki, and specialty rolls using authentic Japanese techniques; ensure ingredient freshness and proper storage; assist in menu development; maintain a clean, organized sushi station in compliance with health and safety standards; train and supervise junior sushi kitchen staff; manage inventory and sourcing of sushi ingredients; lead with attention to detail and quality in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Chef de Partie specializing in Sushi within a luxury hotel or fine dining environment
- Deep knowledge of traditional Japanese sushi preparation techniques and presentation
- Culinary certification or relevant qualification is preferred
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and food safety
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-pressure kitchen environment
- Willingness to work flexible shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Must be currently in UAE
