Job Summary
Chef de Partie responsible for maintaining mise en place, preparing dishes to recipe specifications, ensuring portions and presentation meet standards, and keeping the section clean and organized. Will supervise and guide junior cooks, communicate shortages to the Sous Chef/Head Chef, deputise in the Sous Chef's absence, and participate in training courses. Required Qualifications
- Experience as a Chef de Partie or similar role in a professional kitchen
- Ability to prepare mise en place and dishes to recipes accurately
- Knowledge of health and safety/HACCP requirements
- Ability to train and supervise junior staff
- Flexibility to work seasonal shifts
- Apprenticeships or qualifications up to Level 3 (advantage)
