Job Summary
Pastry-focused Chef de Partie leads the pastry/bakery production, directing subordinates and ensuring desserts are prepared and presented to brand standards. Responsible for cost control, stock management, and testing new market-oriented products. Oversees training and guidance for kitchen staff, maintains cleanliness and safety, collaborates with Catering/Banquets/Outlets, and ensures quality service and guest satisfaction through effective team leadership and cross-department coordination.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Culinary Arts with specialised training in Pastry/Bakery
- Must possess a valid food hygiene certificate
- At least 2-3 years experience in pastry/bakery roles
- Great communication skills and ability to interact with guests and team
- Commitment to rotating shifts, weekends and public holidays
