Job Summary
Chef de Partie - Pastry responsible for preparing pastry items, regulating oven temperatures, pulling from freezer and thawing, ensuring proper portions and garnishes, maintaining food logs, monitoring quality and quantity, communicating needs during busy periods, informing Chef of excess items for daily specials, and informing staff of specials and stock. Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, and motivating staff; follow safety and security policies; complete safety trainings; maintain professional appearance and confidentiality; anticipate and address guests’ service needs; communicate clearly; develop positive working relationships; support team to meet quality and service standards; stand and move for extended periods and lift objects up to 25 pounds.
