Job Summary
Chef de Partie - Pastry responsible for preparing special meals and pastry items, regulating oven temperatures, thawing frozen items, ensuring proper portioning, presentation, and garnish, maintaining food logs, monitoring quality, assisting with menu specials, and communicating with F&B staff about shortages. Duties include training-related activities, following safety and security policies, maintaining professional appearance, protecting company assets, addressing guests’ service needs, and supporting the team to meet quality standards. Requires hands-on pastry/kitchen skills, ability to stand for extended periods, and physical ability to lift up to 25 pounds. Education preferred: Technical, Trade, or Vocational School Degree; minimum of 3 years related experience; Marriott International as the employer.
