Job Summary
Prepare and cook meals according to recipes, quality standards, presentation standards, and food preparation checklist; regulate oven/broiler/grill/roaster temperatures; thaw items; ensure proper portioning and garnishes; maintain food logs and monitor quality/quantity. Inform staff of menu specials and stock; assist management with hiring/training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, and coaching; uphold safety, confidentiality, uniform standards, and asset protection; respond to guest needs; communicate clearly; foster positive teamwork; adhere to quality expectations; stand/move for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds; perform additional duties as assigned by Supervisors.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Technical, Trade, or Vocational School Degree
- Related Work Experience: At least 3 years of related work experience
- Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience
- License or Certification: None
