Job Summary
Chef de Partie at Recess Hotel & Club in Savannah, GA. Responsibilities include preparing specific food items at your station, following directions from the head chef, collaborating with the culinary team to ensure high-quality food and service, keeping the kitchen area safe and sanitary, stocktaking and ordering supplies, improving food preparation methods based on feedback, and assisting in other kitchen areas as needed. The role requires strong teamwork, excellent communication, safety and sanitation knowledge, multitasking, and the ability to work weekends and holidays. The candidate should have culinary school training or equivalent experience, and be able to cross-train in other hotel-related areas while maintaining a professional appearance and participation in hotel meetings and trainings.

- Qualification from a culinary school or equivalent experience
- Past experience working in a similar role
- Ability to work well in a team
- Excellent listening and communication skills
- Knowledge of best practices for safety and sanitation

- Multitasking and organizational ability
- Available to work shifts during weekends and holidays
- Ability to withstand temperature variations
- Maintain a warm and friendly demeanor at all times
- Must be able to multitask and prioritize departmental functions to meet deadlines
- Attend all hotel-required meetings and training
- Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which includes wearing the proper uniform and nametag
- Must be able to understand and apply complex information, data, etc. from various sources to meet appropriate objectives
- Must be able to cross-train in other hotel-related areas
- Perform other duties as requested by management
