Job Summary
Kitchen Leader (Chef de Partie) at JOEY South Common: lead a 50-100 person team, drive quarterly strategic goals, ensure product quality and guest experience, and contribute to multi-million-dollar restaurant performance. Responsibilities include attracting, coaching, and retaining top culinary talent; proactive recruitment/hiring; P&L management with budgeting/forecasting; maintaining high standards for safety and food quality; and supporting expansion opens across Canada and the US. Strong emphasis on leadership development, operational excellence, and a coaching culture within a high-performing team.
Required Qualifications
- 1-3+ years industry experience in a Culinary Leadership role
- Proven ability to develop, coach and inspire a high-performing team
- Excels in proactively recruiting, hiring, and retaining top talent
- Exposure to PNL management, including budgeting and forecasting
- Food Safe and Health & Safety Certification
