Job Summary
Chef de Partie / Breakfast Chef responsible for supporting the Sous Chef and senior team in delivering the highest standards of food preparation, presentation, hygiene and service. Duties include preparing food before service, setting up and stocking kitchen stations, plating to luxury standards, ensuring consistent quality and presentation, adhering to health and safety requirements, managing your assigned section (grill, larder, etc.), conducting stock checks, assisting in creating SOPs for new dishes, training junior team members, coordinating with other kitchen sections, and maintaining inventory while minimizing waste. The role requires a creative, precise culinary approach, a professional culinary degree or equivalent certification, Level 2 Food Safety & Hygiene, and 2–3 years of experience in luxury hotel or fine dining environments. The position is based in London, UK, and visa sponsorship is not available.
Required Qualifications
- At least 2–3 years of experience in a similar role within luxury hotels, fine dining establishments, or Michelin-starred restaurants
- Level 2 Food Safety & Hygiene Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
- A professional culinary degree or equivalent certification from a recognised institution
