Job Summary
Chef de Partie leads day-to-day kitchen operations for all-day dining, supervises staff, and ensures food safety and sanitation, inventory management, and coordination with management to meet company standards. Responsibilities include opening/closing duties, FIFO compliance, maintaining equipment, training and coaching employees, assisting with hiring and performance evaluations, ensuring uniform appearance and confidentiality, delivering quality guest service, and adhering to safety policies. Requires hands-on kitchen duties, ability to stand for long periods, and capability to move and lift objects up to 50 pounds. Preferred: High school diploma and Food Safety certification; 2+ years related experience with 1+ year supervisory experience. At Marriott International, equal opportunity employment is practiced.
