Job Summary
Chef De Partie in a luxury 5-star hotel kitchen leading your section, delivering dishes to recipe standards, maintaining food safety, and supporting inventory and cost-efficient operations. Collaborate with the Executive Chef and Executive Sous Chef to ensure high-quality production across services, manage prep time, reduce waste, and use top-quality local ingredients to create bold dishes that reflect New Zealand’s unique character. Flexible, reliable, and aligned with a dynamic culinary team to uphold meticulous presentation and hospitality excellence.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Chef de Partie, ideally within a fast-paced, high-volume hotel kitchen (5-star experience is a plus!)
- Solid understanding of kitchen operations and food safety standards
- Flexible and reliable – ready to work shifts, weekends
- A team-first attitude with a strong desire to grow and contribute to a high-performing culinary team
- Committed to quality, detail, and presentation in every plate
