Job Summary

The Chef de Cuisine will oversee daily kitchen operations across dining outlets, banquets, and special events at Willoughby Golf Club’s private club setting. Responsibilities include leading and developing culinary staff, ensuring exceptional food quality, presentation, and consistency; assisting in menu planning, recipe development, and seasonal offerings; managing food ordering, inventory, rotation, and cost controls; maintaining sanitation and food safety standards; coaching and developing kitchen team members; maintaining labor standards and scheduling; collaborating with Executive Chef and front-of-house leadership to deliver exceptional member experiences; coordinating kitchen equipment maintenance and overseeing operations under high expectations for member satisfaction.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive culinary leadership experience
  • Prior Chef de Cuisine, Executive Sous Chef, or senior kitchen leadership experience preferred
  • Experience in a private club, resort, luxury hotel, or upscale restaurant environment highly desirable
  • Strong knowledge of food costing, inventory management, and labor controls
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and during peak seasonal periods
  • ServSafe Certification preferred
