Job Summary
Lead kitchen operations as Chef de Cuisine at Uchi Nashville, providing coaching and leadership to Sous Chefs and kitchen teams to drive excellence in day-to-day operations and the restaurant’s specials program. Oversee unit KPI analysis, financial and administrative oversight, and the development and evolution of the menu. The role emphasizes hospitality, culinary innovation, and staff development within a culture of craft, continuous education, and career advancement. Training will occur in one of our existing markets with lodging provided, with relocation support and opportunities to grow within the Hai Hospitality group.
Required Qualifications
- Experience leading kitchen teams
- Strong financial/administrative acumen
- Effective communication with guests and staff
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to train and mentor staff
- Knowledge of safety guidelines and proper kitchen sanitation
