Job Summary
Chef De Cuisine leads and oversees the kitchen operations under the hotel leadership team, shaping strategic direction for all restaurant, bar, and room service menus. Responsible for menu development, supervising cooks and staff, ensuring service excellence and guest satisfaction, and maintaining compliance with Work Health and Safety, Hygiene, and HACCP standards. Demonstrates strong leadership, motivates crew, fosters collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, and manages daily operations to meet financial objectives while upholding company policies and core values. Requires a solid background in culinary arts with a minimum combination of education and six years of related experience; capable of directing day-to-day kitchen activities, guiding staff, and delivering high-quality culinary experiences in a luxury hotel setting.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- or 2-year degree from an accredited university in Culinary Arts, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major; 4 years experience in the culinary, food and beverage, or related professional area
