Job Summary

Direct day-to-day kitchen operations, ensuring the culinary team is fully set up for success before and during every shift. Enforce rigorous quality and safety standards while managing day-to-day kitchen operations, mentoring line staff, and controlling costs and waste. Partner directly with the Executive Chef to achieve mission and vision, driving culinary excellence on every plate. Maintain a consistent and steady schedule with rare industry holidays off, supported by daily family meals and comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, and paid sick leave. Requires 4+ years of experience in high-volume fine dining kitchens and a valid ServSafe Food Manager Certification.

Required Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience managing in a high-volume, fine dining kitchen line and supervising back-of-house operations
  • Proven ability to manage day-to-day kitchen operations, mentor line staff, control costs/waste, and seamlessly support the Executive Chef
  • Mastery of advanced fine-dining culinary techniques, station organization, and meticulous detail orientation
  • Exceptional ability to communicate clearly, articulately, and calmly
  • Valid ServSafe Food Manager Certification (or local equivalent)
  • At least 18 years of age
  • Reliable transportation
  • Proof of eligibility to legally work in the United States
  • Ability to obtain and maintain proper uniform (including black non-slip shoes)
  • Ability to handle the physical demands of an active kitchen line
