Job Summary

Chef de Cuisine to lead the culinary team and oversee all kitchen operations in a restaurant. Responsibilities include leading and managing the kitchen staff, developing and updating the menu with seasonal ingredients, supervising food preparation, cooking, and plating, ensuring adherence to health and safety regulations and sanitation standards, controlling food costs and managing inventory, training and mentoring staff, collaborating with management on budgeting and staffing, and maintaining customer satisfaction through consistent quality.

Required Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Chef de Cuisine or Executive Chef in a reputable restaurant or hospitality setting
  • Strong culinary skills with a creative and innovative approach to menu development
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and team management abilities
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation regulations
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
  • Culinary degree or equivalent professional training preferred
