Job Summary

Direct daily supervision of on-site railway operations, guiding and motivating the work team while ensuring all activities are executed safely and efficiently. Enforce workplace health and safety policies, plan equipment usage and maintenance including PPE and machinery for wagon loading, and collaborate closely with the shuttle train operator to secure wagon positioning. Support the foreman with administrative and operational follow-ups related to railway production. Requires at least two years of team management experience and three years in an industrial or production setting, including heavy vehicle operation. Full-time permanent role Monday through Friday from 5:00 to 13:30 in Montreal-Est.

Required Qualifications

  • At least 2 years of team management experience
  • Ability to mobilize employees around operational priorities
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in an industrial or production environment
  • Experience operating heavy vehicles (loaders, cranes, shuttle trains)
  • Great diligence and importance placed on respecting safety procedures and railway regulations
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with the team
  • French language requirement
  • Excellent physical condition
  • Appreciation for on-site work including climbing and descending wagons and handling equipment
  • Experience in a railway environment
  • Good knowledge of systems, infrastructure, or rolling stock
