Job Summary
Chef Apprentice program is a one-year apprenticeship beginning on the start date, with hands-on experiences across kitchen operations and structured culinary education. Primary responsibilities include prep and cooking of foods of exceptional quality, managing multiple stations, assisting with preparation, presentation, and storage, ensuring timely service, maintaining cleanliness, supporting team members, communicating health and safety concerns, attending informational meetings, and completing the CA Capstone Project. The role emphasizes high standards, collaboration, mentorship from senior culinary leaders, and opportunities for long-term professional growth.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 years of cooking experience preferred
- Experience in a hotel or restaurant experience preferred
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- SERV Safe or equivalent certification preferred
- Culinary arts or a related field education or experience preferred
