Job Summary
Package cheese into large boxes following standard procedures and operate equipment in the packaging room safely and efficient. Check weights to ensure each box meets specifications, keep records and complete paperwork accurately, and maintain safety by following food safety guidelines and wearing proper PPE. Assist with cleaning and sanitation, help train new team members, and communicate with supervisors to keep production running smoothly. Full-time rotating shifts include nights from 5:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. with alternating weekends. Forklift certification required.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Willing to obtain Forklift certification
- Must be 18 or older
- Team player with good communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Willingness to follow safety and quality standards
- Willingness to work alternating weekends
- Willingness to work rotating shifts (Night: 5:00 p.m.–5:00 a.m.)
- Willingness to work 5 nights, Off 2 nights, Work 2 nights, Off 5 nights schedule
