Job Summary
Plan and execute fun, educational, and instructional cheerleading classes while building effective relationships with participants, parents, and staff. Foster a positive environment that nurtures youth potential using the Y voice and core values of caring, respect, responsibility, and honesty. Maintain a minimum age of 16 and ensure CPR certification within 90 days of hire, with training provided. Uphold YMCA mission principles and demonstrate commitment to serving the community through these youth-focused activities.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 16 years of age
- Must be CPR certified within 90 days of hire
- Experience in teaching gymnastics, with all aspects of tumbling and apparatus
- Must be able to model the core values; Caring, Respect, Responsibility, and Honesty
- Must have commitment to the mission and cause of the YMCA and uphold its values and ethics
- CPR and First Aid certifications required or within 90 days of hire
