Job Summary
Plan and lead age-appropriate cheer and hip hop dance lessons for K–6 students at Robinson Elementary, teaching basic choreography, rhythm, and movement skills while maintaining student safety and managing classroom behavior. Prepare simple routines for program showcases and communicate professionally with school staff. Create a positive, inclusive learning atmosphere that fosters teamwork, confidence, and creativity in elementary-aged children. Work Mondays and Wednesdays from 5pm to 6pm during the specified program dates. This part-time role supports Athletes Global Corporation's mission to empower youth through transformative educational opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- Experience teaching or performing cheer, hip hop, or dance
- Ability to work with elementary-aged children
- High energy, patience, and strong classroom management skills
- Reliable, punctual, and professional
- Must be able to pass required background checks
- Must be able to work the Dates Below on Monday and Wednesday
- Must be able to commute to the location
- Teaching: 1 year
- Cheerleading: 1 year
- Hip Hop dance: 1 year
Desired Qualifications
- Prior after-school or youth program instruction experience
- Ability to adapt instruction for mixed age and skill levels
