Job Summary
Design, configure, and support enterprise WAN, LAN, and hybrid cloud environments, managing routing protocols like BGP and OSPF while troubleshooting complex connectivity and performance issues. Install, administer, and optimize Check Point firewalls, including policy management, NAT, and VPNs, to ensure high availability and security compliance. Implement and maintain Microsoft Azure networking architectures, configuring VNets, NSGs, ExpressRoute, and load balancers to support secure on-premises to cloud connectivity. Monitor network and firewall performance, logs, and security events to maintain resilience and availability. This 3-month contract requires 8+ years of enterprise networking experience with strong troubleshooting and stakeholder management skills.
Required Qualifications
- Strong hands-on experience with WAN technologies and enterprise networking
- Strong Check Point Firewall administration and troubleshooting experience
- Strong Microsoft Azure Networking experience
- Good understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN and network security
- Experience with BGP, OSPF and routing protocols
- Experience with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools
- Understanding of high availability and disaster recovery principles
- Experience supporting hybrid cloud environments
- Strong knowledge of network security principles and best practices
- Relevant degree, diploma or technical qualification in IT, Networking or a related field
- 8+ years' experience in enterprise networking and infrastructure
- Proven experience supporting WAN environments
- Strong hands-on Check Point Firewall experience
- Strong experience with Azure Networking and hybrid cloud environments
Desired Qualifications
- Check Point certification such as CCSA/CCSE
- Microsoft Azure networking certification such as AZ-700
- Cisco certification such as CCNA/CCNP
- Experience working in large, complex enterprise environments
