Job Summary
Provide a pleasant and efficient checkout experience by engaging guests, promoting sales, and delivering professional service. Responsibilities include greeting customers, discussing promotions, recording prices, handling cash and card payments, giving correct change, balancing cash drawer, weighing/bagging items, processing coupons, and maintaining a clean work area while adhering to safety and training requirements. Mentors new associates when needed and supports store leadership in creating a positive guest experience and contributing to store performance.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED; or one to three months related experience and/or training
Additional Requirements
- Meets the state minimum requirement to sell tobacco and/or alcohol.
