Job Summary
Check customers out at the register, process carry-outs, and handle parcel pickup services while maintaining exceptional customer service and adhering to "Meet and Greet" policies. Bag orders properly, ensure accurate cash handling to minimize over/shorts, and hit standard items per minute targets. Clean and maintain check stands, magazine racks, and candy racks daily. Lift 50 lb. boxes and exert force frequently to move products, requiring good vision and the ability to work on slippery floors. This entry-level role supports Pyramid Foods' local community mission within a flexible team environment.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to lift 50 lb. boxes on occasion
- Must be able to exert 25-50 lbs. of force frequently
- Must be able to exert 10-20 lbs. of force constantly
- Must have dexterous use of both hands
- Must be able to stand and move about to various workstations
- Must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull items
- Must be able to use knives and other sharp instruments
- Must have good, corrected vision
- Must have hearing
- Must have the ability to stoop
- Must have the ability to kneel
- Must have the ability to reach
- Must have the ability to work on floors that sometimes become slippery
