Job Summary
Check customers out at the register while maintaining exceptional service and adhering to "Meet and Greet" policies. Process orders efficiently to hit standard items per minute, ensuring proper bagging and assisting with carry-out or parcel pickup services. Clean and maintain check stands, magazine racks, and candy racks throughout the shift. Comply with all company policies, including dress code and name tag requirements, while managing cash over/short to keep till levels low. Lift 50 lb. boxes and exert 25-50 lbs. of force frequently to handle materials and products. Pyramid Foods supports local communities by providing quality food and service in a friendly, flexible environment.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to lift 50 lb. boxes on occasion and/or exert 25-50 lbs. of force frequently and/or 10-20 lbs. of force constantly while moving and handling materials and products.
- Must have dexterous use of both hands.
- Must be able to stand and move about to various workstations.
- Must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull items so that objects move toward areas of use.
- Must be able to use knives and other sharp instruments utilized in the preparations of food items and/or removing products from boxes.
- Good, corrected vision.
- Good, corrected hearing.
- Ability to stoop.
- Ability to kneel.
- Ability to reach.
- Ability to work on floors that sometimes become slippery.
