Job Summary
Check customers out at the register, process transactions while maintaining low cash over/short levels, and achieve standard items per minute targets. Assist clients with carry-out and parcel pickup services, ensuring orders are bagged correctly and addressing issues through critical thinking. Clean and maintain check stands, magazine racks, and candy racks to uphold a clean atmosphere. Adhere to "Meet and Greet" policies and company standards including dress code and name tag requirements. This entry-level role supports Pyramid Foods' commitment to local communities and quality service in a flexible team environment.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to lift 50 lb. boxes on occasion and/or exert 25-50 lbs. of force frequently and/or 10-20 lbs. of force constantly while moving and handling materials and products.
- Must have dexterous use of both hands.
- Must be able to stand and move about to various workstations.
- Must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull items so that objects move toward areas of use.
- Must be able to use knives and other sharp instruments utilized in the preparations of food items and/or removing products from boxes.
- Good, corrected vision
- Good, corrected hearing
- Ability to stoop
- Ability to kneel
- Ability to work on floors that sometimes become slippery
