Job Summary
Check customers out at the register, process carry-outs, and assist with parcel pickup services while maintaining exceptional customer service and adhering to "Meet and Greet" policies. Ensure orders are bagged properly, clean check stands and display racks, and resolve issues using critical thinking to achieve low cash over/short levels and standard items per minute. Lift 50 lb. boxes and exert 25-50 lbs. of force frequently while standing, moving, and working on floors that may become slippery. This entry-level role supports Pyramid Foods' commitment to providing quality food and service in a friendly, flexible team environment.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to lift 50 lb. boxes on occasion and/or exert 25-50 lbs. of force frequently and/or 10-20 lbs. of force constantly while moving and handling materials and products
- Must have dexterous use of both hands
- Must be able to stand and move about to various workstations
- Must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull items so that objects move toward areas of use
- Must be able to use knives and other sharp instruments utilized in the preparations of food items and/or removing products from boxes
- Good, corrected vision
- Good, corrected hearing
- Ability to stoop
- Ability to kneel
- Ability to work on floors that sometimes become slippery
