Checker

Checker position in Hy-Vee Grocery department with night and weekend shifts. Responsibilities include providing fast, friendly customer service, operating a cash register, handling payments and coupons (including WIC/food stamps), stocking and assisting customers, bagging, and ensuring store policies on tobacco, liquor, and lotteries. Emphasis on accurate cash handling, selling to customers, and maintaining store appearance in a fast-paced environment. No education or experience required. Employment contingent on pre-employment drug screen.
