Checker

Checker at Hy-Vee responsible for fast, friendly cashiering and customer service. Operates a cash register, processes payments, redeems coupons and promotions, issues receipts, and handles transactions including food stamps and WIC where applicable. Provides assistance to customers by guiding them to products, bagging/packaging purchases, and supporting drive-up or carry-out as needed. Maintains knowledge of store policies on tobacco, liquor, and lottery sales, stocks and rotates merchandise, and helps keep the store clean and organized while delivering excellent service in a fast-paced environment.
