Checker at Hy-Vee providing fast, friendly customer service in a grocery setting. Responsibilities include operating a cash register, scanning items, handling payments and coupons, bagging, assisting customers to locate products, stocking shelves, and ensuring store policies on tobacco, liquor, and WIC/food stamps are followed. Must manage transactions accurately, greet customers, and work collegially with store team in a high-volume environment. No education or prior experience required; physical requirements include lifting and being on the move in a fast-paced retail setting. Employment contingent on a pre-employment drug screen.
