Job Summary
Load and check trucks correctly, operate a forklift safely, and inspect trailers for damage while following all stacking procedures. Use loading tickets and manifests to verify shipments and enter inventory information into the computer system. Keep the work area safe and clean, perform final quality checks on finished products, and communicate with management to excel in customer service. This role requires high school diploma or GED, forklift experience preferred, and the ability to work overtime, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to read a tape measure
- Detail-orientated and able to work independently
- Able to work overtime, weekends, holidays, and flexible hours when needed
Desired Qualifications
- Forklift Experience preferred (certification provided by Carpenter Co.)
- Shipping / Receiving or manufacturing experience preferred
- Basic computer, reading, writing, and math skills
