Job Summary

Operate a cash register accurately, scanning products, redeeming coupons and food stamps, processing credit-card transactions, and counting back change. Package merchandise, replenish shelves, and assist customers by locating items, loading heavy goods, and answering phone inquiries. Follow local and company policies for tobacco, liquor, and lottery sales while maintaining strict sanitation and personal hygiene standards. Verify register balances at shift start and end, review weekly ads for price changes, and report improper cash levels. Perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds, stocking displays, and assisting with store decorations as required.
